Hello Jasmine,
ReplyDeleteWhooo’s reading sounds like a good alternative to a reading log according to the explainer video on the site. I’d be interested in checking it out. The students at my school love prodigy. I feel like it is good for those students who are gamers and are uninterested in schoolwork. They have to learn the concepts so that later they can use them in prodigy. I’ve not heard of Pear Deck but it seems like a good resource to keep in your teacher toolbox.
Hi Jasmine,
ReplyDeleteI have used prodigy several years ago, and I wasn't aware that you can level up the membership. Prodigy worked great for several of my students at the time, especially for the two that despised paper/pencil assignments. Interactive game-based games can be a great alternative to learning. They provide fun learning and make our lives a little easier... sometimes. :-)
Hi Jasmine,
ReplyDeleteWhoo's reading seems like a great resource for reading. I had not heard of it before but it definitely looks like it can be useful for monitoring and motivating students in reading. I will be making note to add this to my teacher tool box. Prodigy is another great resource that I have seen utilized in schools and students seem to love it. Pear Deck also seems to be a good alternate to the typical slideshow. You have a good set of resources .
